Just getting some minor maintenence on Serenity. She’s due for some new back tires. Wait time is about 45 min to an hour at most. I’m in no rush to get anywhere. This actually gives me some time to think about my day. Things have changed a lot at work. Especially the kid to adult ratio in the beginner class. I find it hard to make it a good class because I have to constantly discipline the kids. Sometimes it feels like I’m teaching a bunch of preschoolers. I am still able to get through all the material but not as detailed as I would like it to be. I hope what I teach sticks and that my students remember it but most likely it will be back to square one next Saturday. I guess that’s just part of being a coach, believing in your students but sometimes they just don’t quite meet your expectations. I’m hoping to be impressed one of these days. Perhaps a little faith can go a long way. Let’s just wait and see what kind of challenges and surprises next Saturday has for me.
